FINE ART ON CANVAS

by Joelle Steele

I work in acrylic on canvas in sizes from as small as 8" x 10" up to a maximum of about 48" x 72". I use gallery wrap canvases, some splined, from 3/4" to 1-1/2" thick. All my paintings are signed, dated, and varnished. I show my work from time to time and I do commissioned work. For more information, please feel free to contact me at: joellesteele@joellesteele.com.

The paintings in the Urania Series below were inspired in part by the Ringworld books of Sci-Fi author Larry Niven, and by the asteroid-like worlds in space -- called Urania -- that I saw in a dream. The paintings in the Hortica Series below were inspired by my love of nature, as well as my years of working as a landscape designer.
