Old Videos

These are four videos from my YouTube channel that my father filmed on his 8mm camera and I had digitized in 2015. The film had been poorly stored at my father’s house, and so a lot of it was not retrievable in the digitization process, and some is sketchy at best. But, most of it is intact, so it’s still worth having a look.

The Streets of San Francisco was filmed in 1943 (not 1946 like the title says) by my father when he was 16 years old. It was mainly shot in front of Sacred Heart High School on Broadway at Webster, although some of the footage looks like it is a block or so away from that intersection.

The Beatles Concerts at the Cow Palace in 1964 and 1965 were also digitized from 8mm film shot by my father.
